When you buy more than 1 unit, the packing measurement is by weight and not by number of bags. We will pack them together in a single bag to reduce plastic usage to be more environmentally friendly.
First, remove the leaves from the stalk. Then boil a pot of water and blanch the leaves for about 10 to 15 seconds. DO NOT cook it, for you want to retain its colour. Immediately after, plunge the leaves into a bowl of iced water. Next, lay the leaves out individually and flat on a tray and freeze them. After they are frozen, place them into a ziplock bag, remove the air from the bag, and freeze it. The leaves will retain their green colour, although they won’t be able to be used as fresh toppings anymore.
